Flint Reed created this vivid painting of the Farley boat shop from a photograph out of the Port Aransas Museum archives.  The craft was built for George Edward Roberts, the father of Port Aransan Johnny Roberts, and was later owned by his grandfather, George Everet  Roberts, aka Florida Roberts.

She was 30 feet long with a 10 ft beam and about a 3 ft draft.  Johnny says the boat has a very colorful history, weathering out several un-named hurricanes prior to WW11,
